BLESSING ATAS ON HER WORKS

" In regards to education, I don’t think I had any type of education about my arts although I was really good with arts as a kid. High school was where I discovered my love for arts. After dropping arts for long period of time, photography became another form for me to paint. I took knowledge from friends around me in the creative field, YouTube and photographers that inspired the kinds of work I want create. I will say I am learning as I go.

I have been someone with filled with so much imagination so I get inspired a lot - my inspiration for my work comes from things around me; movies, music, people, things, colors, etc. There’s so much beautiful stories to be told and all of that drives me. Sometimes when I get ideas, I write them down and build on them. slowly, slowly they all come together.

I have learnt so my much from creating. It is so amazing how a piece of work can bring people together. Makes you realize that you aren’t just creating for yourself but for amazing people who connect deeply with your work. I have learnt that though the journey may be difficult but the art and the love for what you do will keep you going and sometimes that’s all you need. "
